Who knows, but it could be that this fantastic shot is the last we’ll see of the auroras from the Pole for a while. So, why not go out with a bang—big, bright, and set against a starry Milky Way backdrop. Below, the horizon shows a clear indication of what’s to come—the sun will slowly begin making its presence known. Last week was relatively quiet at the Pole, with only minor detector issues and plenty of time left over for viewing film festival entries and keeping the puzzle progress going…almost there!
