Week 23 at the Pole

NSF/B. Kuo Tiong

Could they ever tire of viewing auroras at the Pole? Hmm, not sure. But regardless, they do have other things to do besides stare up at the sky. First, there’s work. Then, there are extracurricular activities. This week brought the beginning of the science lecture series. IceCube winterover Blaise Kuo Tiong is shown giving a talk on his previous work at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory along with an overview of deep space missions to Mars and Saturn.
