Seems like only yesterday when IceCube winterovers Hrvoje and Marc arrived at the South Pole to begin their adventure. And yet here they are, greeting their replacements as they prepare to hand over the reins. Bad weather delayed some incoming flights during the past week, but in the end IceCube’s new winterovers, Connor Duffy and Kalvin Moschkau, landed safe and sound, ready to jump into their training. But first, how about a group photo?  Or two? The four winterovers look pretty happy out in front of the IceCube Lab (ICL). The ICL houses the many computers that collect data from all the detector’s buried sensors—here’s a peak inside.
