Week 23 at the Pole

A quiet week at the Pole—but that doesn’t mean that nothing happened. First of all, look at that sky! Lots of stars and swirling auroras, but also a bright rising moon make for a very picturesque setting. Of course it’s cold there, so no one really want to be outside for too long. Indoors plenty of things were going on‚ including continued tech rescue training, the annual viewing of “The Shining,” and a scrumptious meal highlighting quinoa-stuffed, homegrown (in the station’s greenhouse) peppers.
