How to make any 4th of July celebration special:
+ Start with a dish decorated in red, white and blue.
+ Add a game of traditional horseshoes, preferably in a large indoor area such as the Vehicle Maintenance Facility at the South Pole. (wait … what?)
+ Throw in a few rounds of “noodling”—fishing for prizes in a large box of uncooked pasta. (now that looks like fun!)
+ And invite a special guest to bring a supply of cold beverages.
