Now for a little bit about myself. I am currently an astronomy-physics major at the University of Virginia. My research interests are experiemental particle physics, particularly particle astrophysics. I have some experience with simulation and data analysis. I worked for Professor Craig Dukes during the summer of 2006 doing waveguide simulations. I am currently working for the IceCube collaboration for Professor Teresa Montaruli doing optical photometry on six blazars. In the fall, I will be writing my undergraduate thesis under Professor Dukes as part of the NOvA experiment. I intend to go to graduate school, get a PhD in Physics, and do research.
