IceCube Programmer

This position will support the Wisconsin IceCube Particle and Astrophysics Center (WIPAC) and its mission, which includes leading the maintenance and operation of the IceCube Neutrino Observatory located at the South Pole. The job involves working with principal investigators, students, researchers and scientists across the IceCube Collaboration to determine software needs and develop software systems to optimize data collection, simulation data production, and research results. Principal duties include contributing to the support and coordination of simulation production and data processing in a distributed computing environment and grid infrastructure.
