Aug. 28-31, 2006, Madison, Wisconsin, USA
We are pleased to announce the 3rd circular for the TeV Particle Astrophysics II Workshop, which will be held at the Physics Department of the University of Wisconsin, Chamberlin Hall, 1150 University Avenue, Madison, Wisconsin, 53706 USA, Aug. 28 - 31, 2006.
Further information and the registration form can be found at the following website: http://www.icecube.wisc.edu/TeV/
If you have registered for the workshop, and have not yet paid the necessary fee, please do so as soon as possible. You find details on how to pay at the end of this email.
As we announced in the first two circulars, the Workshop is organized with plenary invited talks in the mornings and working groups in the afternoons. The final program for plenary talks and the schedule can be found at: http://www.icecube.wisc.edu/tev/program.php
Please check carefully for your presentation time, as the schedule is changing constantly. Email Kim at the above address if you have any questions. Also contact Kim if you need a support letter to obtain a visa for travel to the US, or if you need help with hotel reservations.
The proceedings will be published in the dedicated conference journal Journal of Physics: Conference Series (JPCS). Directions for submittal can be found on our website. The deadline for submittal is October 30, 2006. We will also be posting all presentations on the conference website. You will need to have both a .pdf and a .ppt version of your presentation available. Our physics students will collect these on memory sticks at the end of your presentation. Each presentation will be labeled following this standard in all-lowercase letters:
lastnameofpresenter_plen.ppt for Plenary Presenters
lastnameofdesigner_poster.ppt for Poster Sessions
lastnameofpresenter_wg#.ppt for WG Presenters
The Social Dinner will be held Wednesday evening, August 30, 2006, at the Wisconsin Historical Society building located at the corner of North Park and Langdon Streets. It is across the street from the Memorial Union, and one block from the Lowell Center. We will begin serving aperitifs and hors d'ouevres at 7:30 PM, with dinner and wine to follow at 8:00 PM.
