Well, if there’s any place that a camera might need a cozy, the South Pole would be the place. This camera is lucky to have IceCube winterover Blaise as its owner—check out the nice custom covering it’s sporting; see Blaise in action below. Speaking of action, there was plenty this week at the Pole, indoors and out. A banana-costumed participant is shown passing the baton in the annual winter 5K race. Prizes for best costume are part of that event. And the auroras continued, bigger and brighter than ever.
