- Abstract:Present and future gravitational wave (GW) interferometers operate at the quantum limit of light (the shot noise limit). Injection of squeezed states is among the most promising techniques to improve their sensitivity beyond this quantum limit. I will describe recent experimental progress towards sub-quantum noise limited sensitivity for GW interferometers.
